We filed chapter 7 bk on 4/07 and was discharged on 7/07. While checking our credit report, it states IIB but it also says charge off. The charge offs occurred before the filing of the bankruptcy petition. Does anyone know if this is the correct or if the charge offs should come off the credit report?

If it was charged off before you filed then yes it can say charged off.

However, dispute it as IIB. You may get lucky and have it change. It's worth a shot anyway.
