    Is Capital One BK friendly?

I currently bank with Capital One. I plan on paying my chpt. 13 off early and was thinking that once it is discharged I go to my bank and ask about a secured credit card to get started.

From what I have read throughout the forums I gather that Capital One is BK friendly. Is this true?

Anyone have any experience with Capital One and getting credit after Chpt. 13 bankruptcy?

I had no problem getting an unsecured capital one card with no fee and an 3,000 limit right after my BK7.
So I would definatelly say they are BK friendly.

Yeah but what if you had a C1 card discharged in your BK? Or if you EVER had a late payment with them?

I had one in my name d/c and the one my husband had yrs ago is reporting 2 late payments over the life of the card. But it was paid off, not d/c. Any thoughts?

My hubby and I both had cap one cards prior to bk, I had settled out mine for 50% of the debt with them and hubby discharged his in our bk just recently. He just received a new unsecured cap one with a small limit but it's all we need for emergencies only. So it can be done. It's just the luck of the draw.

I included them in my bk last year, and was surprised to get an unsecured offer from them for $3000 not too long after, with no annual fee. I took it.
