    Experian not letting me.....

    dispute online

I subscribe to Truecredit.com and I went in to TU and Experian yesterday to start my "clean up" process. Today, I was able to get into TU to do some more clean up but Experian doesn't allow me access to the dispute page???
It takes me to an error page (you are not authorized to dispute.....ensure that you are the owner of the credit report......call 1-800....yadayada) after I enter my name and personal info.

Did I do too much yesterday? Is there a limit of access per month. I sure would rather dispute online rather than by letter in the near future!

I am current on the $11 for Truecredit and TU is letting me in just fine.

Kinda sucks because Experian is where I need the most repair......

    Someone know what's up?

Maybe Experian is having webiste issues and that is why you cannot dispute online?

They asked u to call the number they may want you to verify your identity that happened with me before...

Or they can be having website issues. I suggest you call the number given so they can get to the bottom of things.

I believe from the true credit website you can only dispute to 2 of the 3 agencies, so experian must be the one you can't. You may have to get a report directly from experian. Goto this link for info on how to get a free experian report https://www.experian.com/consumer/cac/01_loginInfo3.htm What I always do is go through the automated phone deal, and request a free copy if you have been declined for credit in the past 60 days, and if it asks what creditor declined you I dont' think it really matters what you tell them. I always just made something up and got a free report.

No it's equifax who dosen't allow you to dispute... Experian allows people to dispute using other services. Equifax REQUIRES you to purchase through them and use the confirmation # listed on your report during that purchase as the access number that will let u dispute.

if you call experian on the phone they will help you. I had to do that and they corrected my errors while I was on the phone and sent me an email so that I could view the corrections.
