    Could someone direct me to.....

a thread about a reasonable credit reporting site?

I know it's in the forum somwhere but I haven't had luck finding it. I would like to start repairing my credit but there are so many credit report sites.. Which one do I use? Freecreditreport.com? Truecredit.com? Do I want to find one that gives me access to all three reports? Are they all so expensive? I have already used my annual when I filed.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Start with http://www.annualcreditreport.com/ if you haven't gotten your annual free credit report yet. Utilize that resource to your full ability. You should get a new report if they change something in response to your dispute. Once you have fully utilized your free report you'll have to pay for them. Many members here seem to use true credit. This link https://www.truecredit.com/orderOrig...ing&cb=WalMart gets you all three reports for 11.20 a month.
If you want FICO scores you will have to purchase those from FICO http://www.myfico.com/

Many links you'll need have been placed http://www.bkforum.com/showthread.php?t=11356 under Links for members in the general bankruptcy section.

Most of us are using true credit for constant monitoring of all 3 reports. If thats what you are looking for, go for it. You should also collect the free ones from annual credit report .com however, as those are directly from each bureau so you can see the reports in their individual formats, rather than all on one combined report like true credit does. Seeing them separately at least once just makes it a little easier to understand everything on the reports.

Thanks....I just got my reports on True Credit.

ARGH!! what a mess! SO MANY Derogative items. How do I clean this up. Do I directly go to the Experian or Trans Union web site, or do I have to write letters?

Looks like I have a long road ahead of me......again

I just came back to give some advice but u already purchased it... You can dispute w/ TU and EX online BUT EQ dosen't let u do it unless u buy your report directly though them. If you can offered another $10 then go to equifax website directly buy the report and then it will allow u to dispute online.

I started the online disputing FIRST its easier and faster.

There is a link at the top of your true credit reports: Found an inaccuracy?
