2 Questions on WaMu and Cap One

First do any of you know how long it takes for Capital One to start reporting to the CRA's?

Second does anyone know why it takes WaMu so long to send there cards out? We got one in my name and now we are waiting on my wifes. It's been 3 weeks and still no word. Starting to get a little worried that it's floating around somewhere. Looked online for a contact number but I dont see one. Only numbers are for actual card holders.

    Thanks

Don't know about cap one, but I'm still waiting on WAMU to start reporting. Got my card pretty quickly, have used it, and now have an invoice to pay - still no reporting on any cra. Was a[[proved 2/22.

It can take a couple of months from the time you get the card before that acct shows on the CRA's. But when it does show, it will be reported back to when you opened the acct.

CapOne is a bit slower than HSBC from what I've noticed. HSBC reported immediately. CapOne took a couple of months to get started. But when it did, CapOne showed back to when the acct was opened.

Well, WaMu isn't HSBC. Cap One seems to be the fastest out of all my cards, and WaMu has run about a 3 week delay, from what I can tell so far.

We've gotten HSBC and CapOne since Discharge. So, that's why I said it.

But you are so right,............... HSBC is not WaMu!!

I was approved for a Hooters card, WAMU card and USAirways card after my ch7 discharge. AMEX and BofA turned me down even for secured cards so would avoid these two credit card places.

How long did you wait when applied for these cards ???

                    Thanks, Catchmeifyoucan

I'm getting a secured card by Millenium, I just sent them $300 (which will be my balance.) Maybe just this one CC is enough for now?
