    Juniper Card Advice

Recently I've applied and been denied Jupiter Carnival & Airways due to to being too close to my limits on current cards. I overutilized my cards over the holidays (Capital One, Hooters, Providian) but I will have them completely paid off within 2-3 months.

Any one know which is the easiest of the Jupiter cards to obtain? My Transunion score on True is 635 which is quite an improvement since my 1/06 BK approval. My income/debt ratio is 10% currently. I'd like to have Jupiter in place of Capital One due to the reporting issues with it and it only showing the high limits. Thanks in advance.

If you went close to your max limit on your CC LOC, CapOne not reporting limits won't be a problem for you. The max you charged will show on the CRA's and other Creditors will know you can go at least that high. If you pay if off quickly, that will also look good for you as well.

Here's a recent thread about Juniper:

Seems the people that applied and got the card received Pre-Approved offers in the mail.

Here's another thread about the Air Tran card:

My truecredit score is about 626 about a month after discharge. I've gotten two unsecured lines already with no fees, but Juniper told me to take a hike. Part of this is TU reporting everything as IIB as of 1/07 not the filing date so it looks too recent (the negative information that is).

They also told my spouse to take a hike with scores around 640 on MyFico.

Crap1 Platinum/no fees the spouse got no problem, I haven't tried. Crap1 was a small line in our filing, so they must be BK friendly.

Thanks Online. I applied for Cap Visa and they are sending me a 2nd Mastercard instead. My Cap One Auto loan was discharged via BK too. Capital One accepts almost anyone. I called them and they will allow up to 3 lines of credit. I will not apply for more.

Could you please tell me where you got your lines of credit? thanks.

I have a Juniper and it seems ok ,But they seem to do a funny thing that you won't expect, you will start getting phone calls from Global 702-835-0058, I googled the number and found out it was a juniper number, they ask if you are there and then hang up, they do this quite alot and if you call them back they don't answer, now if you can get ahold of someone they will say it is one of their vendors or Barclay, maybe put you on a no call list but who knows how long that will take, its a bit irratating to those of us who suffered thru all those CA calls before. To me it sounds like skip tracing? Just thought I'd mention it, it seems like they practice this.

Is your account overdue? I wonder why they would be calling??

No in fact the account is new, a small balance, and nothing overdue. I have been getting these calls for awhile now. Only thing I can think is they want to know where I am for some reason, it all makes no sense, but thats what they are doing. Other have the same thing happening, you can see if just google the phone #.

Not a bad card after Ch 7, but this makes me wonder about the decision to get this one. Credit card company games. Think I'll get rid of them. Who needs this?
