Authorize Users

Okay I notice people always say to have some add u as an authorize buyer so u can obtain there credit history and so on...

Well which CC do that?... My uncle added me last summer to his card and I didnt get his established credit history added to my report. I am about to get added to his Capital One card after my discharge and need to know will they allow it?!?!?!

All credit cards will add an authorized user. The only information that will appear on your report as an AU is that one account, nothing else will transfer from the original cardholders credit reports.

Okay I know that one acct but usually they dont add my ss# so how they know its me?... I want to take over my uncles capital one acct which I know he'll let me I am there princess but I want the history as well as the credit limit to show on my report so I can start rebuilding how can I succesfully do so.

Well, unfortunately, more bad news. Cap One does not report credit limits. They only report the highest balance.

So, you will not get the benefit of history - or credit limit - but you will get the benefit of the age of the account.
