    Free Fico Scores With WaMu!!

I already posted about this, but its really significant enough to deserve its own thread.... so here goes, my apologies if this has been discussed before.

WaMu offers 1 free fico score a month from myfico.com. That would save you $150-200 in a year if you were to purchase directly from myfico.com instead. Being the card is fee free (no annual fee) its a win / win. I strongly recommend this card for rebuilding, as its byfar the best bk friendly card I've found so far.

The general approval guidelines seem to be a transunion fico of at least 600, and about 6 months post bk.

Have you had a chance to compare the scores you get from WaMu to what's reported by a Credit Monitoring Service. Say True Credit??!!

I'd be interested to see how they compare. Higher or lower than what TC shows.

Not sure yet, I've been watching but the scoring feature hasn't initiated yet.

It shows my TU fico as 645, while my true credit fako TU score shows as 680... 35 pts off, not good but not horrible either. But at least I know I'm close to around 650 or so...

            Help?

I just received an offer for WAMU but since I have the Hooters and although have not activated my Household Bank card, which is a no annual fee card, I didn't know whether to get another card or not, even if it offers the free scores? Help?

I don't even know what my scores are as I've never paid to see them; just tried to clean up my credit report last year, during the discharge....

Any thoughts? It's not like I need another credit card...2 are enough and if the Hooters wants an annual fee in October, I will most likely drop that & keep the Household bank only...

what do I need 3 cards for except to lose them? don't want any cc problems again so I'm very wary of all these offers....

It is your own choice if you want to rebuild your credit and how so. Only you can make those decisions for yourself.
