I was just reading the money section of the Wall Street Journal....due to flattening out, now AE is issuing "heavy metal" cards in titanium, JP Morgan has "Battlestar Galactica" cards...unbelieveable!

I remember when having a gold mastercard actually meant something. It meant your limit was high and your standing was good. That was quite a while ago. Now it doesn't mean anything. Anyone can get a "platinum" account. Heck, even debit cards or secured credit cards no longer look any different than other cards.

That is the truth. I have a debit card tied to my brokerage account. It is all fancy and gold. You would swear I am some high powered, super credit, gold card machine. LOLDate Filed: 12/19/2004
