Not activating a new credit card

How will a credit card show up on your credit report if you don't call the 800# to activate it once you receive it? And if when you do a balance transfer to it from another card when you sign up for the card will they actually process the transfer?

    Good question!

The first and only card that I applied for, my Hooters, I know the application fee is charged to the card and that was whether or not I called to activate it...so, I'm thinking that if you applied for any cards, they will be showing up on your credit report too?

It may actually show up on your credit report temporaliy, but then should drop off if not activated. That's what happened to me with Credit One. If you request a balance transfer when you apply (which is NEVER recommended until you get the card and agree to the terms) then I'm not sure but i would assume that the card is then activated.
