    Creditor Problem/cra

OKAY SO I CALLED TRANSUNION TO DISPUTE AN ACCOUNT THAT I PREVIOUSLY DISPUTED AND THEY SAID THE CREDITOR SAID THE INFORMATION IS CORRECT. SO I SAY IF I SEND YOU A COPY OF MY DISCHARGE PAPERS AND YOU SEE THAT THIS DEBT WAS DISCHARGED ARE YOU GOING TO UPDATE IT. THEY SAID NO BECAUSE IT'S UP TO THE CREDITOR AS TO WHAT THEY REPORT. IS THIS TRUE? WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT THIS? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!! I'M READY TO KICK SOME BUTT!

    Tell Your Lawyer

My Lawyer said after all is said and done with the Bk, he will follow up with all three Bureaus to make sure my history looks like it should. If not he will fine or sue somebody! So if you have an attorney, tell em' !

    Good Luck, Catchmeifyoucan

This is why i'm going to use an agency to fight for me.

The system was designed by cr agencies - so this shouldn't be surprising. Even if u got bk - it's no guarantee the debts will be zero'd out or elminated.

Many times they just won't. what's the worst you can do to them? Force them via legal action to remove it? They can easily decline and take the chance you're lazy and will do nothing. When the worst is, just removal - you can see why they don't care.

Very VERY few companies actually get sued. If you file papers ($$ for you) and threaten with legal action - then they'll do it. But then you just spent $ and aggravation, and that's precisely what they want.

It's how the system is designed. I got 2 accounts on my CR with balances, and disputes so far have failed. This is WITH bk.

Now i'm supposed to sepdn MORE time than i spent preparing for bk - trying to clean up my debt. Go figure.

I'm just gonna use experts and the legal system to do the dirty work. I know what grabs their attention. Strongly worded letters sure don't - they just go in the trash bin.

The govt does a crappy job regulating the cr industry. Blame lobbyists who fund the politicians. Tal kto you congressman.

Because that is how long a BK can stay on your credit report.
