Chapter 13 was discharged on 9/11! I figured for S&G's I'd try the Capital One preapproval 2 days ago... unable to approve due to non discharged bankruptcy. Fine, reports probably didn't update yet.
Tried again today, boom, approved for $3000 Quicksilver!
I was the joint debtor with my husband on our Chapter 13, so I also tried his luck on the pre-approval... also approved for $3000!
Let the credit rebuild journey commence! I have to admit, it's a little scary. lol! I've learned ALOT these last 5 years, but it's still nerve racking getting these little plastic cards that played a role in us getting there in the first place!
