I have a Cap1 Platinum (Hah! As if!) card with a small ($3k) but useful credit line (and no fee), a year+ car lease and 6 months on an FHA mortgage for my townhouse. I'm starting to get offers from Barclay (featureless but no fee) and Cap1 Quicksilver rewards (no fee 1.5% cash back) rather than the bevy of trash offers I'd get after I first got the Cap1. Are any of these good cards? Any other cards I should start looking at? What kind of credit lines are typical in these kinds of offers? And what's the point of having 2 Cap1 cards anyway?
A cashback card would be nice, better than the featureless one I have now. I like the Barclay card with 0% Apple financing but I suspect that's a higher credit tier than the featureless card Barclay is offering me, plus once the initial 0% deal is paid off the card itself is no great shakes in terms of features unless they'll give you another 0% deal in 2-3 years to upgrade your computer again.
