how soon can you buy a house

Just curious what is the earliest someone qualified for a home loan? I know it says fha loan is two years.

We were discharged from a Chapter 13 on 5/1/2015, We applied for an FHA loan on 6/15/15 and were approved for the FHA maximum loan amount of $287,500. We went through our local Credit Union and purchased our new home 7/28/15. Painless process.
