Needing a home equity loan

My BK 13, will have been over for 2 years, this coming November. I have about 47% equity in my home and need to borrow $20K. Wells Fargo denied me yesterday.

My credit scores are 670, 672, and one dipped to 625. My cash flow is absolutely fantastic now. Anyone know of a lender who works with someone, post BK13?

Try contacting a mortgage broker who can shop many lenders for you.

Have you pulled your credit reports and made sure everything is reporting correctly?

Yes, and wish I had done it much sooner. CitiMortgage has me being down for 180 days late for the past 5+ years. Not the least bit true and I have the bank statements to prove it.

Try Capital One or a local credit union. I just closed a HELOC yesterday with Palisades Federal Credit Union. Chapter 7 was discharged 8/18/2010.
