I've just seriously started looking. One lender says I'm not listed in caivrs and my credit report does not show the foreclosure. Hopefully I hear that we can move forward with an application tomorrow.

It will show up in the underwriting of the loan, its not on my credit report either.

Maybe look into the MSHDA mortgage programs, through the state of Michigan. They're for first time homebuyers, or people who haven't owned a home in the past 3 years, who meet certain income limits. There's no first time homebuyer requirement, if you've buying in what they consider a "targeted area".
