Confused....question about forclosure after discharge

Been looking like crazy for an owner financing home, so far what few we have found have been very rough. Of course if they were perect they would have sold conventional I guess. We are looking daily hoping eventually we will find a nice home that we can get creative financing on. Because if it's true that it will be 3 yrs after foreclosure is done, as slow as BOA is moving, I may be on social security by the time we can obtain another mortgage, lol.
