Naca?

Hi,
Has anyone tried using NACA for a mortgage? It doesn't say anything about having to be 2 years post-bankruptcy.

Insights?

Website has a lot of info about the program; and it seems like you basically have to go to some workshops and then volunteer at five of their events a year; but they say you can get a loan around 3.75% with no down payment or closing costs? Too good to be true?

Otherwise i was planning on waiting till February when my 2 years are up for FHA..

We worked with NACA--but it was more like we gathered information and then got a HAMP ourselves. Alas, we did not get that fabulous interest rate. But I think we can keep our house.

You really have to be diligent with NACA and call them and leave lots of messages because they are short staffed.
