How long does it take after discharge does it take to get a Home loan?

How long does it take after discharge does it take to get a Home loan?

I filed in 2007 , Discharged in 2008. Ive paid ALL of my credit cards and bills on time since. Soon i will have all my credit cards paid off..

Does anyone know how long it will take before i can expect to get approved for a home loan?

Or do i have to wait the FULL 7 years?

if you credit is good i understand fha is 3 years and usda could be shorter...i understand depending on your situation could be 2 years.

but one never knows since they the lenders now make their own rules. we opted for a owner financing situation, and were lucky enough to find one. so there are other ways to get a house...rent option to buy...land contracts, etc.
