Is there a lender out there who will give you a mortgage 1 year after a chapter 7 BK? We have great credit scores 650+ after only 9 months. I would like to buy ASAP. Can someone one throw me some lenders names? Thanks

I don't know of any. We are in the same boat. Underwriter told us 2 years. 1 down, 1 more year to go. -
You likely won't get a traditional type mortgage...although there are some hard money lenders....but beware, they will break your legs if you miss a payment!Comment
