Verification of Mortgage Refinance

We are looking to refinance our house that we included in bankruptcy, but did not reaffirm. The new lender says they will request a verification of mortgage from our current lender and if we have any 30 days late we cannot refinance. He is not very knowledgeable in bankruptcy and refinance rules though. He said this VOM would show up and 30 days late. Our current mortgage company says it does not show up on the VOM. Does anybody have any info on this?

Yes...a few times..that is why I am wondering if they will show up. Our current mortgage co says no, the new one says yes.

I don't know the answer to this. If the lates were before your BK they may show up but if they were after I'm not sure what the banks are allowed to report. Someone here should know for sure.
