I totally understand, Kuya. I think it's horribly unfair, too. It's really terrifying to contemplate 5 years of no disposable income. The only thing that makes me think about it without breaking out into a cold sweat is the realization that I'm about to start a new career, and with that will likely come a lower-paying job (actually, I can guarantee you it will be a lower paying job...) and the conversion of a 13 to a 7.
It's not that I'm not willing to pay back some of what I owe. It's that I'll be forced into poverty for five years to do it. And if they don't have to, why should I?
