Hi Everyone!
I don't post much anymore, but wanted to encourage those of you still go through the BK process that there is light at the end of the tunnel (and it isn't a train!!)!
My husband and I successfully completed our Ch.13 Plan a couple of years ago--paid everything off early after inheriting some money from a relative. Husband also got a fantastic pay raise that same year. One of the hardest things for us during that time was when we had to sell our home of almost 15 years in a Short Sale--for months I couldn't even drive in that neighborhood.
We found out last week that we have been APPROVED for a home loan and are purchasing a home with several acres of land! We rented a really yucky house for two years and then moved to a nice one last year and just happened upon this one we will be buying. Needless to say we are thrilled!
Managing our finances wisely is a daily choice and I wish I could say we've done everything just right--we haven't, but we keep getting better and better. It's a little challenging as we have two young adult children who are in college, medical conditions, etc., but everything is working out.
Sorry for the long post, but again, just want to encourage you to HANG IN THERE!! YOU WILL MAKE IT!!
