Well its been 2 years in july since i was confirmed for a 3 year chapt13. I have a manufactured home on foundation with an arm/variable interest that will start next june 2011. I wont be able to afford the payment if this starts and that is part of the reason I filed for 13. i understood it would be possile to Refi while still in a 13. Everything is current now and has been before and since the 13.
I really need a good Broker or advice/opinon on gettin a Refi at this time. I think i owe just under value of house so i would estimate equity at 3.5 to 5%. I dont have any extra money to put down and hope the equity is enough for it all.
I called 3 brokers today and have not gotten a call back once they learned i was currently in a 13. I was told it was not promising by 1 and not possible by 2.
guess my question is this.
1. how much will i need down or in equity for Refi?
2. has anyone here been able to refi while in a 13?
3. could a broker or person please P.M. or email me with any information available.
4. would I be better off to convert to a chapter 7 and try to Refi next year?
