We were discharged from our Ch13 this past August (our mortgage was not included, but they obviously did not send bills during the 4.5 years we were in bankruptcy). After discharge we wrote to our mortgage company and requested that they begin sending statements and asked to be allowed to view our account online again. That was 2 months ago and still nothing. We sent a copy of our discharge papers (which they should have received regardless). What do we have to do to get them to start sending statements again?

Was the trustee making your payments or were you sending in payments outside the Plan? If you were making them outside the plan, how did you know how much to send since mortgage payments can fluctuate as to escrows. If the trustee was making those payments, I would contact your attorney and see what information the trustee may have from the mortgage company because your account has been transferred to the BK section of your mortgage company and the address of your payments was also changed._________________________________________

The trustee was not making the payments. We paid outside of the plan. We had refinanced our mortgage about 3 years prior to filing bankruptcy and the mortgage company did not include a escrow account so our payment always remains the same (we pay for our taxes, home owner's insurance, etc. separate from our mortgage). We paid the same amount that we had paid for the previous 3 years.
