Anyone?? So is this some type of deal that will work out a loan mod for you with your lender?I have some friends going to a naca seminor(bad spelling).

My husband and I have been in the NACA program for over one year. It is a good program, but is a pain in the behind because of all the documentation, etc. It's been our experience that they are grossly understaffed and inefficient. They frequently change requirements and don't refer to the book they tell you to read. Our biggest problem was not the BK, but the short sale of our home.

If you choose to work with NACA, be sure you have an inordinate amount of patience.

My husband and I finally had to lease another property as the one in which we were living was a dump. It was so bad we found out that the military won't even rent it for personnel to temporarily live there and we lived there two years. Since our new home exceeds the purchase price for NACA, we will most likely just wait another year or so and go for traditional financing.
