I did get a loan modification on my first, second and third mortgage. Actually the second and third were the easiest and fastest. they were all with bank of america but handled by different departments. The third mortgage was at 9.09% and they lowered it to 6.09% for the life of the loan and on all three they stretched them out to 30 years.

      Hi everyone,

      I am back with a status update~

I kept calling and calling WAMU/Chase and they just kept telling me I had been signed to a negotiator and needed to be patient. Then the next day I received a Fedex package in the mail....

WAMU/Chase is starting us on a trial 3 month period, reducing our payment by $300 each month. We had to sign an agreement to the trial period but it does state this is temporary and does not garrantee a permament modificaton. Along with this package we must send new financials as well as pay stubs and a signed 4506 (something to pull our previous tax returns).
We must also include our first payment and it must be to them no later than the 1st of each month.

It also went on to say if we do not qualify for this modification they would work with us to find other solutions to try to keep us in our home. Our financial picture is different than when I applied, as I have since lost my job and things are tight. However, we are current on our payments.

I will continue to keep you posted....
