How to get a "limited income" apartment

There are several new apartment complexes in my area that are WAY nicer than most of the other complexes, my problem is they are "limited income" so if you make more than thirty thousand dollars a year for two people you do not qualify. I thought I had it beat with my income from last year with a w-2, but they want a current check stub and multiply that to come up with the yearly income. Does anyone have any ideas on how to beat this system? I really would like to live at any one of these places, but I don't qualify for making too much money. Thanks in advance for any help you might have.

What you are asking us to do is to help you cheat in order to take the place of someone whose income really does qualify for one of these apartments. It clearly states in our forum rules that we won't help anyone "beat the system" if that requires lying or fraud. This does. 'Nuf said.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

What do you want, the place is asking for recent pay stubs, you gotta supply recent pay stubs. I have even heard these places turn down people not just based on income, but based on education and profession.

        HELLOOOOOOOOOOO,

Can you all help me get a new "little ole lady rate" on my mortgage?

Course there would be nothing illegal about it!!!!

Yes, we would all like to live better at a lower rate if we can..... and yes the apartments for the low income - some are better than my home is.....

People who live in "low income housing" periodically are checked to see if their income goes up..... if it does, their payment goes up also......

        Sorry, we can't help!!!!

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

Take a lesser paying job so that you are earning less than the maximum $30,000.
I used to have a life, now I have grandkids.
