Score jumped 33 pts. in 24 hrs!

Maybe it's divine intervention for us to get a home. HA HA. We were told that on yesterdays score, we couldn't get the rate that we wanted. So now today, I pull the report again and the scores are now in the 600's, the discharge is listed, and on pacer, we are CLOSED!

Our lender was very surprised. She's calling the credit bureau to have them reset the system so she can pull a FRESH and NEW report.

    I cannot believe the timing!

Why does True Credit show different scores from lenders? Frustrating since I am paying $23/mo. to have both myself and my husband's scores available 24/7. If she shows something else then it will be a let down and we'll give it another few days to a week if the builder will wait for us. Otherwise...NOT MEANT TO BE!

    (going numb here!)

That is great news , but keep in mind that your scoes will go up and down. I recieved a 50+ point bump on Transunion in September only to loss 35 points the next week. In the end you should be up, but expect a little drop is possible if not likely.
    My credit scores:
Before Filing: Tr 496, Ex 496, Eq 507

    Today: Tr 618 (+122), Ex 601 (+105), Eq 623 (+116)

There is also another section of this board called after the discharge with separate forums for rebuilding credit, getting a mortgage etc. You might find more helpful info over there.

Can't wait until I am ready to start posting there!

I moved your thread here, MoneyTree. You'll probably get better answers to your Credit Report questions in the Rebuilding Section than in the Ch 7 Section.
        Filed Ch 7 - 09/06
        Discharged - 12/2006
Officially Declared No Asset - 03/2007
        Closed - 04/2007

In my understanding the scores show at true credit are their own scoring system. While it is based on many of the same risk factors as FiCO scores they are not FICO scores. You can only access FICO scores from FairIssac who owns and sells FICO scores.
Additionally, FICO has different scoring matrixes for different lenders. So a mortage lender may request a slightly different FICO than an auto lender or a a credit card company, or a bank. The FICO the mortgage lender gets would have more weight given to various factors that pertain to your likelyhood to be able to repay a mortgage. For example and Auto FICO puts more weight on past auto loans.

Someone else jump in here if I got any of this wrong. I am just starting the rebuilding process myself so am still learning.
