I called DCU today and talked to them about an auto loan.
They told me I would have to be 2 years post BK discharge to be eligible for an auto loan.

Use this as a guide only but she sounded pretty clear even when I asked if there was any wiggle
room on that rule. She said no.

It really depends on the specific bank's lending practices. I received an auto loan from another credit union within 6 months of discharge. I received an unsecured signature VISA within 1 year of discharge. It really depends on the lender.
