Didn't include, tried to reaffirm but finance company wouldn't do so due to being a month behind (did actually cure it). Discharge to close: 6 days. Close to repo: 3 days. Got current car at lower rate and better mileage same day.

Rate pre-BK (had started strategic default): 24.99% for 48 mos (around $18k).
Rate post-BK (day car got repossessed): 16.99% for 66 mos (around $20k).
So, I'm paying a little more on my second, BUT the finance folks at the dealership I purchased from said to refi in 6-8 mos, once I get a history laid down. Can't complain.

I refinanced my first auto-loan after BK as well (well, I actually kept my previous car and loan through BK and after discharge, paid it off and traded the car in to obtain the car I just refinanced). From 18.24% to 9.32% after 7 months.

We just bought a car today, it's been a struggle only having one car with both me and my husband working full time, and our 16 year old son working part time. We surrendered our Blazer six weeks ago. Financed a Nissian at 12.9 percent. Fico score 560.
