Was looking at Dodge's last week and to my surprise I was able to get 1.9% financing for 72 months on a brand new car (0% to if I wanted it).
I'm 16 months post discharge with a surrendered in bk vehicle back then.
No cosigner by the way,credit score at 661 Transunion.

That is good, (hopefully they don't bait and switch you, but that sounds like a dealer incentiveized loan)

But as a practical matter, you really should never finance a car for that length of time.

Yes I'm hoping that as well. Fingers crossed.
Could have gone for the 0 % for 5 years too, but wanted the lower payment just in case.

Hopefully one day I can finance a car for 12 or 24 months only, though not sure what new car that may ever be and be affordable. I know, buy used. Actually this was a deeply discounted 2011.
