We traded in both our older VWs, got a good deal, plus 3.55% interest for 60 months on a new 2012 Jetta S.
The trade-in cars still had 2 loans we financed through Capital One (22%-ouch!) and Freedom Federal Credit Union (10%).
I looked up myFICO scores before going to dealership and they were okay for husband (mid-600s), but mine weren't so good (low-600s).
However, we saw our auto credit scores and they were high-600s for me, low 700s for my husband! I'm surprised that we got financed through VW Credit - instead of them fishing us out to some loan sharks!
Next goal - first time homebuyers & try to get a mortgage in 2012/2013!
