Switching owner of auto loan once discharged from ch. 7.

We needed a car before discharge so we went to a bad credit dealer who has a very bad reputation. We really didn't have much choice. They said that we could not get financed until after discharged. They offered to have a family member get financed and then we could switch out our names after discharge. They said we would still have to go through the approval process with the finance co, just have an income and not in active bankruptcy. I am concerned about how this will work. How will it appear on my family members credit? They have great credit. I don't want it getting messed up. We make the payments and have our own insurance on it along with my family member having insurance on it. We just want to get the burden off our family members shoulders.
