If the dealership is shopping around banks for an approval, can I also apply for say Capital One Blank Check or would one affect the other negatively? Like if I apply for Cap One and I get denied, will that possibly affect the chances of another bank approving me?

if u apply for multiple auto loans within a certain amount of time it only counts as 1 inquiry

I hear the time frame is a week and it'll count as one inquiry.
