CapOne question about instant approval, etc.

I applied for a car loan (well, dh did) and he didn't get "instant approval", but they instead said they would email a response in 24 hours. Well, we've now received two emails...

One said, "Congratulations! We've approved your Capital One Auto Finance loan application."

Then 13 minutes later we got an email saying, "Thank you for choosing Capital One Auto Finance. We have a few questions that we would like to discuss with you. Please call us at your earliest convenience."

Is this the normal way CapOne does things? If anyone has had these similar (or same) emails, could you help me to understand what to expect when my dh calls? He can't call until Monday (they are closed).

This is the same thing that happened to me. When I called they stated they just had a question regarding an 'extra' phone number on my credit report (which was my wife's). They had to call it to verify that another person with my name didn't answer it. I'd imagine it's something minor since you already got the email with the loan details - but call ASAP as they will not send out your packet until then.

Just recieved ours today! I asked for 23k and they approved blank check for up to 30k at these rates (myfico currently shows 627):

Model Year Annual Percentage Rate (APR)
    2010 or newer 5.45%
    2009 6.35%
    2008 - 2007 7.10%
    2006 - 2004 8.35%
