My parents have filed for CH 13 BK on 12/31/09 and then their SUV was voluntarily turned back into the dealer in december of 09 as well.
The lease on their current car is due in one month, and they will 100% need another car. Is it possible to enter into a new lease? They make considerable income (over 120K/year and they have solid employment).
Note: the lease payments for the past year on the repo'd car and the current lease were late almost every month, so their credit history is bad. My mother's credit score was around 480 when I checked last night.
Can they get a new lease on their own? If not, do I cosign for them (my CS is 760) ?
