Has anyone been able to get a lease in 13?

I have another year left on my lease and I was just curious to hear what others have experienced with getting a car these days. What are people paying a month these days? I just got confirmed a month ago and im just preparing myself...thanks in advance.

Before you try to purchase another vehicle, you must get the permission from your Trustee to incur new debt. I'm currently waiting on permission from my Trustee. I do know that some of the dealerships I've already talked to have told me that the lenders they deal with, require a person to be in their Ch 13 plan for at least a year. This is info I got from dealerships in my area.

My Lease Experience and Bankruptcy Chapter 7

Recently after two years of scrimping, saving and watching my credit score, I decided to venture out and see what I am in for with only 6 months left on my lease. I am one of those people who was watching the news recently and discovered that the big three auto makers were asking for an additional bailout beyond the TARP money they allegedly received. Anyway, I called a few places, I spoke with GM whom I have never missed a car payment, I spoke with the dealership where I leased the car and I explained my situation.

After getting a lot of hot air b.s. over the phone, I finally went into the dealership to get advice in person. They sat me down and gave me the biggest screw over I have ever had. All those two years of getting myself together only to find out that Leasing is practically non-existent, dealerships have early lease return on more cars on the lot than anything I have ever seen, and new cars were not moving, this dealership screws over me big time and I could not believe it. Still can not believe it.

Within a few hours, these guys had taken back their leased vehicle which I have had for over 3.1/2 years, ran my credit, sold me a 2006 conventional purchase at 23 percent interest(had no clue)over 72 months at 622.00 a month, interest is more than the car is worth, I got turned down by GM even though I never missed my car payment, turned down by dealership for their own credit program, and guess who they gave me Crapital One(lol)...worst out of the group ever.

I never even got a chance to negotiate with them...they did all of this own their own because I told them I was willing to accept another vehicle if it was financially good for me. This is so sad too because they spoke really fast all while acting nice and a reputable dealership too(checked them on BBB)good rating, told me nobody would help me and this was the best they could do. I was depressed for a few weeks and decided to ask you guys if I have to accept this or is there a way out of this mess? Does not pay to be gulible.

has cap one done a customer review with you yet ? It will be in the form of a phone call asking a few questions like are you still employed ? ARe you happy etc.... THe special finance banks usually wont fund the car deal unless the customer interview went well. This interview will come within the 1st couple of day's though. If the bank wont fund the deal there is NO PURCHASE !!!!
