APPROVED up to $20,000! Interest rate depends on the final loan amount and length but will be 7-9%. A vast improvement over the 18% I was paying on my other loan!
I am looking at a 2008 Toyota Yaris. The one I'm looking at is priced at $13,900 and I'm planning to offer $13,000 with $13,500 as my absolute maximum. The trade-in value on the car is $14,100, so I'm getting a good deal either way. I can finance it for 36 months for only a few dollars more than I'm paying on my existing loan (which still had 36 months left before the wreck). Total of the payments will only be a little over $15,000.
It also has the 7 year/100,000 mile warranty, which is a must in my situation.
I still can't believe I was approved at a decent rate after being declined about 14 times. It truly does matter which bank you choose and what their policies are. I thought all banks were the same but I've learned differently!
