I am so afraid of what will happen. I currently am married and have a child and my wifes car's engine needs to be rebuilt which is no problem as the car is paid off and she can drive with no problem.
Well I depend on my truck to get to and from work daily and it is a 2001 Nissan Frontier and has 110,000 miles and 0 problems. Well the balance is 9500 and the value is 5500. I have tried to talk to these 722 redemption loan companies but the vehicle is 5,000 miles over the limit
I am currently 1 month behind because I am getting the money up to file and will probably file in a week or two. The vehilce was originally cosigned with my mom and she filed bankruptcy so it is now on me. My attorney said he may be able to negotiate with the finance company to lower the balance on the vehicle and I begin to make payments from there. I just dont want to loose my truck. He also said I could reaffirm. But I am scared if I am behind a couple of months they will want back payments right away and then start from there.
I am also reading that it seems most everyone can get a loan from Capital One right after bankruptcy but I am scared they will tell me no and I will be stuck. I make roughly 28,000 a year and my wife doesnt work as she is a stay at home mom. I am completley stressing and dont know what to do.
Will someone with experience give me some guidance?
