    Approved Capone blank check

Ok, just wanted to post and let everyone know I was approved for Capone blank check. Of course I got approved for way more than I intend to use. Interest rate is 10.75% but not bad. Wish me luck as I go car shopping this weekend!!!

CONGRATS sara4! I think you got a pretty good deal with that. Car shopping will be so much more enjoyable for you because you have all of the power now. You won't have to worry about the slaesman's game with price, payments and terms. The ball is in your court. Good luck and have a blast car shopping this weekend and check back in and let us know how it turned out.

Congrats Sara4! We are going to apply for the CapOne check too. Our car is almost 15 years old - it has had a long run and we enjoyed many years of no payments but it is time to bite the bullet. Anyone have any experience with using the check? Just curious how it works. Do you make out the check once you are there and that's it? I am assuming you have to show a license etc.

I am also wonderng if you are eligible for dealer rebates or is that only if you go with their financing?

                Hi everyone,

Thanks for all the well wishes, my check is in the mail and should arrive soon. I opted for the regular mail since I work. I think someone asked how long I've been discharge? I was discharged on 8/14/07 and closed on 8/15/07. I didn't have anything from Capone on my bk. I had an account from years ago that I paid off still showing on my cr's and I just got a cap1 cc 3 weeks ago. When I first applied (8/15/07) my bk wasn't on my cr's so they couldn't approve. I thought I had found a hooptie but the car DIED before I paid 1 dime which was a good thing. Anyway, I'm going to do my homework and make sure I'm up on everything before I buy. I have 90 days before the check is no good so of course I'm researching. Not sure if any of the rebates work since I have my own financing, but trust me I'm researching any REBATES & INCENATIVES!!!! Sure feels good to know I have my own financing and don't have to fall for any of the crap from the GREEDY SALESMEN/WOMEN!!!! I'll keep everyone posted on how it goes and how to use the blank check. I had to fax a copy of my driver's license, and my income (pay statements and military retirement as well as 2 references). BTW Roadloans called today but their offer was AWFUL!!! Sure felt good to turn them down!!!
                Filed - 5/2/07
                341 - 6/12/07
                Discharged 8/14/07
                Closed 8/15/07

Having my own financing before shopping for a car....PRICELESS!!!!!

Got a Capital one Auto Finance offer up to 30K. Saw on the back APR between 15 and 22%. Threw the offer in the circular file where it belongs! I will not pay that kind of money for a newer vehicle then my 2004 dodge. I will wait until I can get a decent offer.
