    FICO scores after discharge

    Hi all,

I have FICO scores from almost 15 months past the discharge in 3/06:

    Experian 701
    Equifax 646
    Transunion 642

I have been rebuilding credit on time with several new cards after the discharge. How long should I wait until I can obtain a decent rate for a new auto loan? I spoke with State Farm who has good rates on auto loans and they told me 2 years after the BK discharge they can give me a loan.

Surely, you don't have to wait 2 years. I can not begin to tell you how many of our members did quite well obtaining decent auto loans.

try lendingtree.com you will be able to compare rates here and capitalone seems to give lower rates here than directly through their own website.
