MyFico.com reported a 627 when they pulled my credit.
I also applied through USAA and a credit union (Grow Financial) in FL which I've had two prior loans with. USAA denied immediately due to the BK and Grow Financial called me and asked for details about the bankruptcy, they are considering the approval but I don't expect them to beat CapOne.

i thought the rate was going to be in the teens since i applied with one week of discharge. All my FACO scores are barely hitting 700s and i used to have two car loans with no late payments, so my Auto Loan scores should be higher. i paid finish paying off one my last car loan out of bankruptcy. My plan is to go to the dealership and tell them i've been approved with a lender and i'll let try to beat the rate without know what my rate is. If that doesn't work than i'll just refi within one year.
Does anyone knows if i put $5k down will cap one reduces the rate?
also, possible refin maybe?? six months down the road???

I was discharged in October of 2009. I applied for a couple of loans about a month ago. One through my credit union. I was approved for 15K at 14% for 60 months. Of course everything I want is over that. (Looking at Hondas & Toyotas). Roadloans approved me for 12K at 22%. No thanks! Some of you are lucky. Good luck!

My advice to anyone who has had to file bankruptcy is NOT to go out and get the most expensive vehicle. I did have to go in and personally speak to a loan officer, but he understood my situation and approved a basic transportation loan for me. I was able to find a clean like new 2002 with only 74k miles and it is PERFECT for me. My credit union would only approve me for 8k, but I was EXTEMELY thankful for that.
