Buying leased car after discharged chapter 7?

My chapter 7 was discharged in March. I'm interested in purchasing the vehicle that I'm currently leasing. The lease is over late Jan 2024. A lot of companies that specialize in buying out leases don't seem to work with people who have had recent bankruptcies. The buyout price is $29k. I expect to be able to put down at least $15k towards the car. I'm almost positive my original lender won't work with me because of the recent BK. My credit is 639 and I'm taking active steps to rebuild so I expect it will be better by January.

Has anyone been successful in purchasing a leased car, or know of any buyout lenders who are BK friendly?

Yup, now would be a good time. NFCU (if you qualify) and PenFed (no military affiliation required) get exceedingly high marks.
