Hello all,
I recently had my Chapter 13 plan confirmed and everything is good to go with that. My spouse did not file, but her income was included on the plan as part of our household income. We each have small auto loans noted the plan too, but are paid outside of my monthly plan payment (same with mortgages, etc).
My question is, is there anything stopping my wife from applying for an auto loan in her name? The trustee would not really be privy to this because she is not a filer under my plan, at least that is my thought.
I am looking to possibly purchase a cheap small truck to do some side hustling, that is the reason for it. If anyone has experience with this please let me know. Thank you.
