We had a chapter 7 bankruptcy this past Feb and in that BK we had two auto loans that we chose not to re-affirm. We still have the cars and are still making the payments. I did have two other vehicles which were returned to the banks during the bankruptcy.
I've always had a perfect auto loan credit history, even these vehicles through the BK were paid on time, every time.
I've read that having a great history of excellent auto credit rating would most likely result in an easy process for a new loan. If I had reaffirmed and kept paying then all would be good but how is it seen with me not re-affirming?
Also do the vehicle loans that were turned in count as bad?
