it is my understanding ....and please someone chime in if anyone has any other thoughts, but once you have done the deed in lieu transfer the bank has accepted the property back in full....there should be no 1099 issued and if there is, i would not claim anything since the deed in lieu is exactly what...12-29-2010, 11:33 AM
