Can anyone tell me if there is a way to save any money if you are in a Chapter 13 bankruptcy. I don't understand, how you are suppose to be out of debt after you get finish paying back if you can't save any money along the way. At least in a Chapter 7 bankruptcy, you are able to start over. However, in Chapter 13, from what I understand is that you have repayments, and you are not allowed to have any "extra" money. This just doesn't make any sense to me. If there is a way, please advise...I am so scared. I'm hoping for Chapter 7 but I really don't believe it will happen for us. Scared and confused:unsure. please pray for us.
