After more than a year the time seems right to file.

It's hard to explain why now and not later or not already. At different times there were medical expenses looming that we wanted to include if they were too big. Or, the tax rebate that we didn't want to forfeit. At various times for various reasons it just never seemed like the time was right. Well, now it seems like the time is probably right.

We managed to come up with the final payment of several hundred dollars for the attorney and we've now handed over all the paystubs and documents they've requested. We're went over the final petition this afternoon and it has already been uploaded to PACER. Holy cow...
