While the general Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure are the same across U.S. Bankruptcy Districts, my blog may contain Local Rules and Procedures which may have a slant towards Florida filers.
In any event, I hope to go beyond the Nolo e-Book (which you should still get if you're filing pro se).
I find that many of the resources for pro se filers only deal with filing the petition and aren't very good with dealing with the following;
- Adversary Proceedings
- Objections
- Responses
- Motions to Value Collateral
- Motions to Strip Liens
- Motions to Determine Secured Status
- Withdrawals of Pleadings
- Organization and Case Management -- major area
- How to Effectively Use the Clerk's Office
- Dealing with Creditors and Their Attorneys
I hope this helps someone.
